While we’re all obsessed with pumpkins this season, let’s not forget about the season’s other star, apples! We admit to falling behind on the apple love, so we’re making up for that with this Caramel Apple Sangria. We’re not kidding you when we say this tastes straight up like a caramel apple. It’s super easy to make too!


Caramel Apple Sangria

1 bottle RELAX Pinot Grigio
1 cup vodka, caramel flavored
6 cups apple cider
2 apples, cored and chopped

Stir together the wine, vodka & cider. Add in the apples & serve!

Can’t find caramel flavored vodka? No problem! Make your own! In order to do this, there are two methods.

How to make Caramel Infused Vodka

First method: Sitting

Needs: 20 caramel candies (unwrapped), one bottle of vodka, strainer, bowl, coffee filter.

– Pour about one shot of vodka out of the bottle. (The weight of the candies will overflow the bottle & you don’t want to waste any vodka!)


– Stuff the caramel candies into the bottle.

– Twist lid on securely & shake it like a saltshaker.

– Shake periodically a few times a day over the next 3-4 days.

– Place a strainer over a bowl, coffee filter in strainer. *Note: it’s best to use a large measuring bowl with a pouring lip

– Pour bottle of vodka into the strainer, this will remove all clumps.

– Clean the bottle.

– Pour mixture from bowl back into vodka bottle. Your caramel infused vodka is ready to enjoy!

Second method: “dishwasher”

Needs: 20 caramel candies unwrapped, one bottle of vodka, plastic wrap.

– Crush up candies into small pieces by wrapping them in a towel & smashing with a hammer

– Pour about a shot of vodka out to make room for the candies.

– Drop candies into vodka.

– Twist lid back on & tighten.

– Wrap plastic wrap tightly around bottle.

– Shake it up, place in empty dishwasher. Run dishwasher on hottest heat with NO soap.

– Once it’s finished running, shake it up & let it cool. Enjoy!
