Perfect spring days are made for sipping refreshing white wine sangria.
3 cups of assorted diced melon – we used cantaloupe, watermelon and honeydew
1 handful of fresh mint
1 bottle RELAX Pinot Grigio
1/2 cup Brandy
1 tablespoon honey
Pour 1 bottle of RELAX Pinot Grigio into a large pitcher.
Add brandy and honey. Mix until dissolved.
Add fruit and mint. Squeeze in the lime. Stir.
Refrigerate overnight or 6-8 hours.
Top with a splash of sparkling water right before serving.
You can use almost any white wine for this recipe.
This recipe is gorgeous enough as is or you can take it up a notch by using a scooper for perfect round melon shapes. Note, it’ll take a significantly longer amount of time to pull off but it’ll turn out looking GREAT. We recommend for special occasions like a bridal shower or Mother’s Day brunch.
Freeze any leftover melon and use it as “ice cubes” when serving or save them for future recipes.
Remove the mint before refrigerating any leftover sangria (leftovers?! bah!).
